And we weren’t disappointed . . . indeed we were beautifully entertained on Sunday afternoon by Fumi Otsuki and we thanked him for bringing us music from across four centuries and six countries – so much to love! The whole programme was very special but I have to admit to totally falling for the minimalist piece by Estonian composer, Arvo Part! It was wonderful too, for us to hear Sarah play Fumo’s own composition for piano; we thanked her for her superb performance and accomplished accompaniment to Fumi. We are always impressed with Fumi’s playing and always grateful too . . . we thanked him for his splendid programme and performance. If you missed him – he promises to return in 2025 . . .
