4th July 2021 @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm
We are very optimistic now that Fumi Otsuki’s concert will go ahead on Sunday 4th July: just one year since our planned celebrations of musical fundraising at Holy Trinity! Well this year’s celebration is no less important or eagerly awaited and we are delighted to be welcoming him back.
Originally from Sendai, Japan, Fumi studied violin in his home town, then Tokyo and later moved to London where he studies violin, piano and composition at The Royal Academy of Music and Trinity College of Music.
His July programme will focus on the musical relationship between Delius and Grieg, with music from other composers contemporary to them. It’s going to be a real winner! I shall keep you informed should there be any developments to our plan – such as the continuing of social distancing etc. Otherwise I’m really looking forward to welcoming you back!
Music by Delius, Grieg, Howells, Vaughan Williams, Schubert, Debussy, Massenet and Mussorgsky.
Accompanist: Sarah Kershaw
